Visual arts meets slow fashion: Happy baby news turned into a piece of art, and a new pattern for MORICO summer 2022 collection.
The new MORICO summer collection 2022 hums and blushes like meadow flowers in the Finnish midnight sun. The new abstract Happy News pattern by artist and designer Susanna Sivonen is full of joy and play – like reflections on the surface of a mischievous forest pond.
The Happy News pattern is based on a piece of art painted by Susanna. She painted it for Tytti Alapieti, the founder and fashion designer of the MORICO brand, less than two years ago when she heard her friend was expecting a baby. Tytti fell in love with the painting so much that she wanted a new pattern and collaboration with Susanna for the upcoming summer 2022 MORICO collection.

Versatility is one of the absolute delights of slow fashion; reversible and adjustable swimsuits are suitable for both the beach and parties. Moon Dress, Luna Top, and Luna Skirt are also designed to fit many different body types.
Our Dark Matter Moon Dress will be soon available also in Happy News pattern. You can wear the dress from work to summer festivals.

The new Haven Trousers are perfect for yoga as well as for beach. You can combine the trousers with our Sunny Top, One Pieces or Haven Shirt.
Haven surf shirt with our leggings are great for colder water, as the one pieces and bikinis are perfect for surfing in warm waters.
Just like our leggings, our Haven pants have a high and nicely fitting waist. Thanks to the double fabric of the swimwear, you can focus on enjoying the sport of any kind, because no matter what movement you have, the tops and bottoms will fit firmly and stay on.

The reverse side of the Happy News pattern is lingonberry red and the other side of the Tulikukka pattern is mint green.

Sustainable slow fashion swim and activewear made of recycled textiles

recycled polyester and ECONYL® recycled nylon. The raw materials for
Ecovero fiber come from certified and sustainably managed forests. The fiber is EU Ecolabel certified, which guarantees environmental standards in fiber production. Keväällä suosikki yhdistelmäni on Helle uikkari (coral -kääntöpuoli ulospäin) Dark Matter leggareiden alla ja Coral -donitsi hiuksissa (ranteessa, kun hiukset on auki). Värimaailmat sopivat täydellisesti yhteen. Jos joogasalissa on kylmempi, niin päälle sopii hyvin vyötärölle sidottuna Phases t-paita, jolloin väriskaala laajentuu, mutta sointuu edelleen ihanasti yhteen!
