Kaamos

During Kaamos, the Polar Night, it is not completely dark. The bright moon, twinkling stars and white snow-covered landscape bring light to the darkness.

As the Moon orbits the Earth, the direction is towards circulation – a circular economy.

For us, slow fashion means extending and continuing the life cycle of clothes and fashion. In addition to the moon theme and organic and recycled materials, in the autumn novelties, we renewed a few models from the previous collection in our warehouse.

The Kultakero pattern from our previous collection is inspired by polar night, kaamos. The curves on the pattern are like the contours that mark the mountain peaks. On top of the fells of Lapland during winter you can witness astounding hues which can only rarely be seen above the horizon during the darkest time of the year. Kaamos is the phenomenon in which the sun doesn’t shine above the horizon. The glimpses of gold and light pink in the pattern represent the sun that hides for the entire winter.
